Vintage Playboy magazines

^It does, the composition is very good and it's not tacky.

Nov 1963 - I saw it on flickr long ago while looking for vintage scans
Very cool ! I really like the photo itself, and it's a unique Playboy cover b/c the model is wearing a layer or two of thick clothing.

I love the old playboy covers they're so innocent and they leave more to the imagination makes me actaully want to see what is inside

The covers are gorgeous, it makes a lot more sense why Dita Von Teese said she was inspired by her father's old Playboys. There's a lot of feminine, coquettish charm in the girls from the 60s-70s.

About the shift in the early 90s, I know nothing about Playboy's history but wasn't Hef on his last marriage when he was trying to "reform his ways" and his daughter Christie started to shore up the business side of Playboy and assumed more responsibility for Playboy? I wonder if a shift in management/people somehow influenced that? (Feel free to correct me though.)

And I never knew you could make Dr. Pepper hot toddys (1st pg).

There's always a playboy bunny on those old covers - hidden or obvious..

I think there still is? I haven't bought an issue of Playboy recently enough to know if the tradition continues, but I'd forgotten all about it until you said!
