Great thread! Here are a few shots I thought might be of some relevance.

1960s Australia (this is my grandpa), love the way clothes of this era hang, esp the trousers:

1970s Australia (my dad and his first car), but a look a lot of guys pull off today:

I think this was taken in the 50s or 60s... (dad and great-aunt), I love the tailoring of the coat:

joie: I love how your grandpa and your dad are posing so similar...and I too love the tailoring on the coat in the Christmas picture - a funky peacoat with a fur collar...I think the only bad thing about this thread is it will be hard to find similar clothes now!

Fashionable Couples through the years....

This one is from 1933-34: Love both of the outfits (especially his)...Let me take this as a reminder to click on my attached photos - 99% of them get a lot bigger....and then you get a lot more details, like his great belt, or her cool scarf and bracelet...What a cute couple!
