More of Germany in the 1960s (the photos above, and these photos, and the next couple of posts are all from one family/group of friends)

Love the red shirt; love the red lipstick...

More of 'Germany in the 1960s'....

I know this photo's a bit blurry, but check out the girl on the right - red jeans with a green print shirt, sleeves rolled up :woot:

In this episode of 'Germany in the 1960s' we meet Drunk Girl (or DG, as her friends call her). DG insists on being the life of the party, even if it means breaking her necklace. But every morning after the party, DG sits and wonders what's really the meaning of it all?

DG is awesome :lol:

My father's bar mitzvah in the 60s. I have the yellow dress my grandmother is wearing. It's too small for me!

I love the dress DG is wearing!

I really like the white dress that the girl's wearing in DG's Broken Necklace picture. It has a rather interesting arched-empire-waist thing happening. Here's a few more photos of it. :smile:lol: See if you can spot part of Attention Wh*re DG in both of the photos)

Thanks for posting more photos Kessler! It's funny seeing the difference between the two. If I was anybody in the mom-n-friends photo, I could look back and think I was cool...but the ladies on your dad's side...a little too funky of fashions! Especially the matching hair-dos on your grandma and great-grandma? :shock: Lucky guys - can't go too wrong with a suit! :smile:ninja: unless, of course, you add a pink ruffly shirt...). I do like the subtle details on your dad's suit - the row of black buttons down the front and the red pocket-square.

Some cool kids - Pennsylvania, US...

1962 = motorcycle
1970s = class photo (love the girl one the far right! I need a classic trench coat)

The shoes are the best part of this outfit (click to enlarge, per usual)

(I love b&w photos, but I really feel like we're really missing out not having the color combos!)

I love all of these skirt-shirt-belt combos. Very do-able today. (Does the skirt look a bit high-waisted to you? Kind of hard to tell with the photo, but it looks like it ends an inch or so above the belt area)
