This is such an inspiring thread! I want my whole life to revolve around stylegazing, interpretation, and contextualization - past, present, and future. It's really a form of anthropology all its own.

I should post some pictures of my grandma back in the 50s. She was a Navy Captain's wife & lived the jetsetter lifestyle for at least 2 decades. Amazing style, fabulous clothes - some designer, some bespoke, some she made for herself! I inherited a lot of her Dior, Lanvin, and Hermès gloves and scarves as well as a ton of unique jewelry (a lot of it from Iran!)
