In the spirit of Lee Alexander McQueen, contributors including Nick Knight, Lady Gaga, Steven Klein, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Meisel, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, David Sims, Mario Testino, Sean Ellis and Sebastian Faena, share images inspired by his unbridled creativity. The collection of images is printed on paper embedded with wildﬂower seeds. When planted, watered, and given sun, the pages blossom. The satin case features metallized brocade from McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 show.

Cant wait until someone post some of the content. I'd buy it but I'm afraid I find old archives of the work of McQueen with the photographers which I think I've seen already.

LadyGaGa as a collaborator? I dont get it, she is just a product of Nicola and their creatives, he should be the one collaborating. I dont get Sebastian Faena either.

The collaborator Im most interested in it's Nick Knight, since he is the only one that has understood McQueen's vision and portrayed it perfectly.

SO. I GOT IT TODAY. Only problem though: I never ordered it, nor paid for it. It's one of the weirdest things ever happened to me. it's n. 65/1500. Was there a contest around to win it? I can't even remember if i applied to one, but that's the only reasonable thing that could've happened. im so happy. I'll post pics as soon as i find my camera.

the lady gaga 'collaboration' is a just a photo of her (performing at the brit awards) in a phillip treacy hat and the lyrics to speechless printed on it. And - SO ANNOYING - whenever you open the box the song starts playing.

There's a mix of old photos from editorials and from past visionaires and a couple photos done for this issue. There's a 3d-moving photo of kate moss in a costum mcqueen from 99, and the paper in wich each photo is printed can be watered and it'll grow wildflowers (there's a set of instructions on how to do this)

Today I recieved my issues! I had only purchased one of them, but I got two. :woot:

I opened 1005/1500 and I also recieved 0973/1500. The one I have opened doesn't play 'Speechless' when I open it...I think I'll count my blessings. :lol:

I don't know what to do with my extra issue, however. :unsure:

I just got one in the mail also!! I did not pay for the book. I put myself on a waiting list in March or something. And then today- I get the book. no packing slip- no receipt. Just the book in a big white box. All day I was freaking out!! I went to the Visionaire website and under my account it states that in my order history the order was incomplete.

insane but so awesome!! I have not opened my book and probably will never take it out of the wrapping. On the front cover of the box- it states 0805. which i am assuming is the number.

im in love!
