i was literally posting this right now
such a mess
i do like the hair though
only vivienne westwood can get away with stuff like this.
^it's always a mess with westwood
can't wait to see the rest, what I'm seeing so far is not so good =/
collectively, i find it a mess as well. but when each piece is styled the right way- its perfect. styling is everything.
the collection is actually very political as it's based around her project manifesto.
you can read about it here:
it seems a very strong statement from viv.
love the last dress in post #4 but I'm not sold on the rest....
What a beautiful mess...and Vivienne look terrific!
LOL she's like cross-eyed in the second picture.
This looks dull..
well, that is very nice ! it's furiously original and i looove the concept of "politics" opinions mixed with fashion. she cans do it, and she's doing it great !
For the ppl saying it's messy, have you guys never seen a Westwood show? Chaos has always been an ongoing theme in Viv's work... It would be kind of weird if that element of chaos was missing from the presentations/work.
I always love when Viv gets political...
These collections would be incredible if they were edited by someone like Katie Grand, there is so much potential here but time after time she delivers collection circa London fashion week 1986: unpolished and lacking the international gloss needed to compete on a global level with other brands. On the plus side she is rumored to be moving this collection along with Giles back to London next season, I think contextually a much more suitable arena to present, I think it would make much more sense!
i expected craziness...and that is exactly what i got. lol
Vivienne looks so cool, love the hair!
