to each their own, there's no need to be so graphic. Some people like her, you don't see why - we get it

She may really be reading this thread. I guess many people don't like the idea of her reading those vivid descriptions of yours. I think you were within the limits of what is acceptable though, IMHO, even though I don't agree about what you said. It may be worth while to think about what use any comments about excessive thinness might serve in a business like this, though. Most models are really remarkably thin and it seems arbitrary to point a finger at one of them. They're much thinner than Cindy C or Linda E were at their prime, which was also in their mid 20s rather than late teens, which probably has something to do with it. Only late 60s models were this thin, as a matter of fact (I've done some research).

I think, over time, the discussion of Vlada and her body will die down as people get over the initial shock... I mean, look at when Hana first came out onto the scene- I think the reaction was much worse then, as Hana's pictures are often even more shocking than Vlada's, and you can look to the first 50 pages of the thread to verify it. While I don't personally think they have disorders, considering their age, and the fact that I, myself, am cursed with the same genes, none of us are really in any position to verify or disprove a possible disorder. In the end, though, they're models; this is what they're paid nice money to do. If she, or Hana, or any other model for that matter, does have a problem, the only one who can do something about it is herself. Period.

Many other models, that are as extremely thin as she is, look bony and emaciated. I dont know what it is, but IMO she always looks very soft and sweet. In addition she has this wonderful eyes in a very pretty doll-like face. There are so many posts here dealing with her beauty. Lets say the truth: Many of us like her because she is soo thin.
Please stop speculating anything about her health. Lets just agree to disagree about the body-type we like - as someone wrote before.

That is completly unfair. This thread is not entitled 'Vlada Worship Thread', like the Karen Elson one was/is, this is for general discussion. As a Liya/Kate superfan, I've had to deal with my fair share of people 'not getting' models that I love.

If you want to restrict this thread to only praising Vlada, entitle it such. Until then, it is free territory to talk about the models in question in any mannor that does not include pervasive language or starts to get into the models personal life, lifestyle choices, or anything else.

I'm sure Vlada is a sweet girl in real life, but from a professional angle, she looks like a druggie to me. Like her more than Querelle, though.

I think that Vlada - who occasionally reads this threat - got the message of the thin legs and arms, it'll be great now to put this topic aside before it gets too repetitive. Moreover, the depth of the discussion has not improved because nobody has background information, thus it remained flat for a while now - another reason for moving on to focus on other topics

I have to agree, i don't understand why the threads all have to be all praise and no criticism. Some people like debate and giving their opinions, however negative they may be. It shouldnt be so upsetting for people to hear something bad about their favorite model. It just shouldnt be so upsetting, however mean or annoying. Thats just my little two cents.

Really, all the anorexic/she's so thin comments are so by now. I personally don't think Vlada looks "too" thin. I think she is one of those girls who can carry a low weight very well. It's unfair to accuse these girls of being anorexic or whatnot. I've seen anorexic girls and, believe me, they do NOT look like Hana or Vlada.

I think that if the negative commentary wasn't about her weight, it wouldn't matter. But weight/eating disorders/etc are very sensitive subjects and its no wonder that the mods want to make sure it doesn't get out of line.
