Vogue Australia October 2012 : Lana Del Rey by Nicole Bentley

It's very bland. I don't like it.

I love the mood the cover gives off. The masthead being all foiled and such. I don`t really find her pretty her although the Subs cover is indeed, beautiful.

They should really change the layout. It looks so bad here.

The cover without text is beautiful!

The model on Double Agent is Nadja Bender and it's a reprint from Vogue Paris. What a disappointing and very underwhelming issue, I've expected a lot more especially since the stunning debut of the new editor. The fact that they got Lana Del Rey and they did this atrocity is unacceptable.

M. Kimbra, Emma Louise, Megan Washington, Julia Stone, Jessica Mauboy, Sarah Blasko, Lisa Mitchell, Emma Birdsall, Ladyhawke & Sarah De Bono
Ph. Derek Henderson

6 pages
(Article/profile of Australia's most promising designers, with an ed of Montana modelling their looks. Shot in Paris)

Escape Capsule
Take your spring wardrobe from city to surf with resort looks made for a moment in the sun.
M. Heidi Mount/Marilyn
Ph. Gregory Harris

Oh, the shot of Heidi Mount wearing the MaxMara vest and Hermès swimsuit would have created a nice cover also.

i dont like the choice of the cover, i wish they used a model instead but this is a good celeb cover, not boring like celeb covers usually are.

I like Lana's ed and the tribute to Anna, but the rest is just OK. Very disappointing October issue.
