Vogue Brazil April 2019 : Irina Shayk by Giampaolo Sgura

A furry bikini on the beach? That should guarantee you a barrel of laughs!

The styling is very casual cool, but the photography and cheesy smile scream catalogue. It's time for Irina to be shot by an experimental photographger now. Yes, we know what her strengths are, but quite frankly it's getting boring.

More often than not, I am the first to defend Irina Shayk whenever she's on the scene but there's no way I could stand and defend this. What on earth happened to Giampaolo Sgura? He wasn't the most groundbreaking of photographers but his work used to be far better than this.

I will not stand for all this Irina slander. She looks gorgeous as ever. The covers are boring though. Guess Sgura nowadays is too busy being a militant vegan online to create good covers.

Is it me or are the photos quite dark? I'm missing brightness and contrast in the actual images to match Irina's expressions, this way it looks like the raw photos before post production.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

There's nothing as exasperating as an Insta vegan. I innocently commented on a food magazine's page that pate de foie gras makes for a better beef wellington, and got an earful of absolute shaming. Apparently, fillet is fine, but not foie gras....

They should have just stuck with the second one. The first one doesn't look 'fashionable' at all.

The shot in Burberry would've made a striking moody cover. Love!

Say what you want about her, and I've got a lot on my mind, but she's just about the only one who makes Tisci's Burberry look good.

^My god, exactly!! Whenever I see redheaded MCB in Burberry I want to gouge my eyes out.

I hate it, it's so cheap... Tisci could pay for something better!
