Well, I'm not quite sure if this is the cover. Because I read it's from the supplement Vogue Passarelas summer 2009. What a confusion I made!

That cover is just so beautiful :wub: definitely one of my favourite Vogue covers so far this year... of any Vogue!!

Well, and I think that this vogue is powered by Firjan (a brazilian company) but i'm not sure.
 
Oh, it's impossible to get all the kinds of issues that Vogue do. They're very expensive!
 
by the way.. all the poses o the Nathalie ed. remind me of that Daria W. Ed. for Vogue Paris in an African Place. Does anyone know the date of this ed?
 
matheus_s: my thoughts exactly. it looks like a really bad version of "dans le vent" (vogue paris april 2008)
about the prices, it's expensive, i agree, but after buying foreign vogues, because i never buy the brazilian issues, i kind of got used to think R$14,90 is cheap - which actually isn't. vogue paris collections is more than R$100, it's ridiculous.

Ana, do you live in Brazil? Well, if yes you know that R$14,90 (the same price of vogue) it's very expansive comparing the quality of the mag... Elle it's R$10 ans it's a horrible mag, L'officiel it's growing on me but still without good articles and eds... Style magazine it's horrible, our version of Glamour - here named 'Gloss' - it's really strange... WE don't have great fashion magazines here, and they all are really expansive.

I usually buy Elle US (I subscripe last month) and pay R$22 (almost U$16) and i love the articles and eds. I buy Portugal Vogue and sometimes spain and uk vogue - they are great, and we know that.

About the ed. I agree it's horrible - i don't have the mag in hands but what i can see this is a hard copy. Does anyone know who styled and direct this?

yes i live in brazil. you're totally right, considering the (non) quality of the magazine it's awfully expensive. that's why i never buy it (especially the passarelas issues - which i won't even start talking about), i used to buy it once in a while when i was younger and wasn't a fashion obsessed, then i subscribed vogue brazil and it was sooooo bad, the eds, the articles, everything, that it didn't last more than a year. i didn't know about elle because i barely look at the cover, much less the contents or the price... and don't even get me started on these other magazines. l'officiel is the most tolerable brazilian fashion mag, but i've never bought it...as you said, we don't have a really good fashion magazine here and the bad ones we have are all expensive. if i'm going to spend a lot of money in a magazine than i will spend a real lot of money and buy vogue paris or vogue italia (which, by the way, are a bit more expensive now, when i bought the august issue of vogue paris i was so mad when i looked at the price).
if anyone got annoyed reading this, i'm sorry, i know it's kind of off topic. i can never miss a chance to criticize vogue brazil...
