Lifeless.

Even at his most bland, as in those American Vanity Fair shots, Bruce always— just by the sheer force of will that is his style, bring some energy to his images. There’s not even a sign of life in these images. The cover with Nicolas is just awful— like they couldn’t wait to get away from one another.

Lifeless and subgeneric is Gomez’s gimmick (and seemingly looking like she’s forever 10yo), I get that. But come on Bruce...

So this seems like these covers has LV PR Effort scribbled all over it??? The muse and designer on the cover, shot by the brand's photographer, and styled by the in-house stylist. About as blatant as it can get. When last did Bruce shoot for Vogue Brazil.

I know this is not the first time it's happening, but they could at least go about it in a less obvious way. I bet she'll only be wearing LV in the edit. Reminds me of Gisele by Karl.....

Nicolas looks gorgeous, such a handsome man. Would have prefered the cover without Selena, who still seems like such a odd choice for Nicolas/LV. Wasn't Léa available?

That tropical feature was quite beautifully captured. This may sound corny, but the vibrant colours against the leafy setting reminds me of David Attenborough's wonderful Birds of Paradise programme, with all those wonderful Amazon birds.
