The first one is lovely, although her face is a bit too dark. The second cover reminded me of the dreadful period when Japanese Vogue, for an unknown reason, used to put the logo over the models' faces and ruined so many covers that could've been epic.

Another values issue representing motherhood? I can't deny how stunning both covers look but why is it all about motherhood this month? Am I missing something?

Oh my god!!!!! I'm literally triggered, I'll never get over all those gorgeous images ruthlessly destroyed. From Daria in a black tight dress to Natasha and Raquel. So depressing....

what is going on? I haven't seen that many pregnant women at once when I lived in Essex (a constantly pregnant county of England :-D). Again, very beautiful images but enough already... I am impregnated to the brim with all these family affair images...

I for one really like that all of these Vogue editions took the Vogue values thing literally and are featuring pregnant women because it allows us to judge them on the same level. I must say these covers beat out all of the pregnancy ones and might be favorite January issue yet. Petra looks stunning, very happy for her to have her first Vogue cover I believe. The lighting on the second one is just stunning!

These are actually really beautiful images but unfortunately not for Vogue.
