Vogue España February 2016 : Suvi Koponen by Dan Martensen

Not a predictable or safe cover image, especially for them. I LOVE this, so well done, kudos to them for publishing a cover like this!

Harper's Bazaar Espana called and they want their mock cover back.

Looks more like something Harper's Bazaar would do, and much better than this, of course. Cannot believe the editor would run this cover.

Suvi is on a roll though, glad for her!

What's with Suvi on every Vogue cover?
Nice and original one, I love it!

 Why would Vogue copy their main rival so blatantly? It could perfectly be a Bazaar cover! OMG!

And they used Suvi cause Emmanuelle used Suvi like 25 years ago... I'm sure.

I'm sad this magazine doesn't have an identity after 30 years.

I like it.. and Suvi looks great in it so why not.

I love it. Of course it could have been spanish Harper's Bazaar but they try something and it's nice.

I like everything but the styling... loungewear on the cover of Vogue? no, thank you.
I´m always complaining that their covers look like escorts ads so this is a nice polished change, even though it looks like HB.

What in HELL is she wearing??? A pair of pijamas on the cover of VOGUE ??? The have lost their minds a decade ago but still find new ways to look amateur, it baffles me. Like really?? People here have 10 times more talent in the cover challenge then anybody at this magazine to create a cover.

Also this layout looks very like like a page in Vogue Paris. So disappointing to see a magazine like Vogue lacks so much vision and class. It´s supposed to be the bible of HIGH FASHION and they have a model doing a yoga pose wearing pijamas with a child-made layout? Gosh I would feel very ashamed to present this to the world.

Total HB and not something i would expect from Vogue España. Although I love Suvi's fresh scrubbed look, the styling makes this already very simple cover, very drab and unexciting.

Slippers and pyjamas on the cover of Vogue, it's like the magazine version of mild depression. The publication is having an identity crisis and can't be bothered getting properly dressed in the morning.

I hate (such a powerful word, huh?) the styling but I guess Suvi makes up for it. She is a great model and I don't mind seeing her on fire, on the contrary - I'd rather see more experienced models like her getting the attention they deserve. I'm sure the main story (if there's any) might have better shots than the cover one. They might be even more playful and experimental.

I was thinking that last Lily cover was bad but this.. so awful. Totally lifeless. Can't believe it's Suvi! Magda Frąckowiak inside gives me some hope for this magazine.

Boring, it seems than Vogue Spain copied the Harper's Bazaar's style.

Vogue Espana's identity crisis continues I see. Every month the seem to copy another magazine.

Awful cover and really does resemble the opening of a fashion story, just everything from the text placement to the shot itself is horrendous and reeks of amateurism (which is a real shame for such an established title).
