The wig, the wig! It makes her look animated like a Miquela 2.0. But I think Bella didn't do a bad job here, at least her stare isn't dead like some other industry favorites these days

I just had a similar feeling. they’re channeling China Machado for sure... well, worked better than when someone tried to turn Dua Lipa into Linda Evangelista...
of course there are better shots in the editorial, but still that wig choice... I mean, you see drag queens with flawless hair and they couldn’t have done something as good? was it a budget issue? come on, this is Vogue!
also, funny to see these recent coincidental inspirations from the supers... Dua into Linda, Anna into Claudia, now Bella and China... I for once would’ve loved to see the original ones...

LOL I was immediately reminded of Gia Gunn’s famous words when you said this. “Is there no budget this time around?”
I like the photography but the concept has no cohesion and the hair ruins every shot she is in. The Prada-laden looks also make everything worse.

Bella Hadid in general ruins any fantasy for me, but that hair is also gross. Also I don't understand why everyone is pushing that weird cheddar cheese Prada look. It's disgusting. Looks good on nobody in no setting
