I love Anaïs Pouliot's editorial. So much better than her single picture in August US Vogue. She looks really, really lovely here. All the shots are great.
As expected, Schiffer's editorial leaves me cold, she is a stunning woman, but her modeling sometimes really does lack variety, i have seen celebrities who command the camera better. Of course i will get this issue for those great eds, Anais is wonderful in hers.
^ I've always felt that Claudia's modeling capabilities depend on the photographer she works with. Like some photographers seem to really "get" her. I don't know if that really makes sense. Like, I quit enjoyed her editorial for Harper's Bazaar UK July 2011, but this is just... blah.
It does make sense, i understand what you mean, and its a great point. Never thought of it that way, major love/hate relationship with her since always, but then my sister says...those are "the best kind".
I didn't mind her when she was in her editorial prime, but these days, Claudia Schiffer's cadaverous eyes are too much for me - which is why that cover is the most stunning shot of her I've seen for some time.
Anais looks impeccable in her editorial. I'm blown away by her poses Also some shots from Wirk-Stoffe are unforgettable, wish there was someone else with Katrin. Thanks a lot for the scans helligirl!
the model in the last ed - Blüte-Zeit - is Christina Kruse, i'm 99 percent sure. she looks pretty young though, i didn't recognize her immediately
ugh, claudia's ed is utterly boring her face is transmitting absolutely nothing in this ed. thank goodness they got a good shot for the cover but that's as good as it gets. anais's ed is lacking a certain spark too imho.
I'd love to see Christina Kruse's editorial! She's such a great model and is making a wonderful comeback. I do hope it's her on that editorial.
