Very Brigitte Bardot....will provide a scan in a few minutes.
Camilla Akrans? Sounds like this could be a great cover. Nadine, may I also ask for a review if you have time and if there is a new Hugo Boss campaign picture? Thanks in advance for your appreciated contribution.
So Excited. I love Camilla's work.
I will try to give you a review today, just have a little patience with me please, I'll have time in the evening
Here is the cover:
Toni looks super-gorgeous there. Camilla Akrans is an unusual choice of photograpger, no?
The red masthead is kinda bothering me though, it dosen't really suit the cover shot. But I'm not going to let that get it down. Thanks Nadine!
thats beautiful! vogue de should get rid of lubomirski and stick to akrans and indlekofer+knoepfel in order to create a distinctive image. theres nothing worse than a mag without identity.
I love the cover image used. The red color makes it look TACKy. Thanks for posting
Thanks for posting! Not fond of the red font, but toni looks gorgeous.
I don't like Toni at all but damn, she looks gorgeous there! Thanks for the scan NadineAndTheCity!
Glad to see some photographers and editors took a good look at the Vogue Paris anniversary exhibition
I like the red front, it make a good contrast with Tonis black eyeliner an her nude lips !
Toni looks gorgeous! I love the cover.
It's a nice shot and I like the way they cleared the text away from the face. It does mean you get a slightly cluttered column on the right, but this layout is so different from normal, I don't mind that. They've even given space to the shadows in the image, so you get a good feel of the mood.
Ok so here's a fast review.
I decided to post snaps of the eds since I dont know the model's names.
Ph. Camilla Akrans
M. Toni Garrn
Ph. Thomas Schenk
Ph. Horst Diekgerdes
Ph. Ben Hasset
Help me IDing
Oh and Marcel, I didn't see a new Boss ad flipping through it.
for some reason it doesn't look very Camilla to me but i can't wait to see the editorial...Akrans will probably work wonders for Toni
ETA: the model in the Cote d'Allure editorial looks like Madisyn R.? & that is Ali Stephens in Oberklasse.
I can't agree more. Lubomirski's photography is weird and I'm a huge Indlekofer & Knöpfel fan. 2010 will be the year hopefully!
Jana Knauerova & Madisyn Ritland I think
Thanks for yor information Nadine
just noticing why the cover doesn't seem like Camilla's normal work; it's a bit darker, making it a little less feminine and enticing even with the soft lighting. It fits German Vogue's aesthetic i guess, but Akran's photographs are so signature and this just looks like it coudl have been shot by Alexi Lubomirski.
Love to see Toni's ed
