Vogue Germany January/February 2023 : Florence Kasumba by Joachim Müller-Ruchholtz

Let's go back to school....to make a better cover...

not with those boots, we’re not.
also, they made her look like Penniwise.

Bottom half look fine, the upper part doesn’t match the energy of the other half. Wish she tilted some more so it feels like she was dancing.

the other editorial previews look insanely beautiful! The shot where she’s smiling is exquisite.

It's a nice picture, but it's so editorial for a cover. I find it so empty, like a lot of free space to fill.

Bland, generic and a very... amateur-looking cover of what was once a great fashion magazine. The photography is weak, the styling is naff and despite the jumping pose from Florence Kasumba here - the cover feels oddly devoid of energy and life. A total waste of paper at this rate.

She's beautiful. They could have done so much better than this photo.

I've just written a feature-by-feature review for this issue, which has been wiped, and it's midnight, so I'll just let you know, aside from the cover story, it's full of reprints from the current issue of UK Vogue, plus Måneskin from Vogue Italia, and Sleeping Abbey, now renamed Sleeping Beauty, from the Oct 2022 issue of VI.

It's around 212 pages, with a Horoscope supplement.

She’s about to kick me in the crotch for I may say not nice things about this cover.

I have no idea who she is, or why they made her look like that. Also, the boots are a crime.

So you have googled her and you know now that she is part of one of the biggest movie franchises of all time?
