I’m getting Natasha Poly vibes.
Pretty head/hair/makeup, but her torso looks a bit massive and no fashion garment visible at all, come on Vogue! Glad they didn't use a Dior strap.
Nothing works for me here, it looks like a make-up, and hair test shot, this is NOT cover worthy!
Why is Arp so into Sgura?!?!!
This is something I'd expect from Vogue Russia with a twist of Vogue Italia. Its like a watered down Ellen Von Unworth
Must admit though, that layout works.
I don't like the new art direction.
^ agree Birgit
Different crop would have worked better, ugh Sgura. But yes to all of Birgit.
2018 and I’m wondering why Sgura is still hired.
this feels way too heavy. Contrasty, but also dark and too much grain
This is beautiful! Looks like they were going for a Marilyn Monroe vibe, and it worked!
Sgura has been doing great recently. His Taylor Hill VJ cover and ed was his redeeming moment for me. I can't wait to see the editorial!
I don't like it. She looks massive and this photo gives me Instagram filter vibes. They can do better.
Too affected! The pout, photography and that dress which looks more uncomfortable than sexy. Not sure how this went so wrong considering the parties involved. And the art direction is extra uglier this time around.....
I'd also like to know what's the link between Arp and Sgura, Miss Dalloway. I think he's a decent enough photographer, it's just that his aesthetic doesn't suit this magazine.
She looks so stunning, but this could have been executed better.
There's nothing wrong with this cover. I'm agree with Benn, Sgura is not a terrible photographer. I love his work for Spanish GQ, he is very good shooting guys. And I like his photos for German Vogue, he can do a great job with girls too.
Who is she wearing
Birgit looks beautiful, but from the neck down, it just looks off. I agree that this could've been executed better. I personally like where VG is going though.
I do like the new layout of Vogue Germany, didn't really expect that from Arp. You immediatly see it on the newsstand inbetween the other magazines here. I haven't bought a Vogue in years and I got the last two issues now. Curious to see what's inside.
She's wearing Giorgio Armani Spring 2018.
