Bye Peter Lindbergh.....with a cover by Sgura. The shape of things to come.
Don't like the cover. It's not awful by any stretch, but it even Elle France would turn this down. Way too basic for Vogue.
Seriously. If anything, that tagline with this cover paints a clear picture of the state of photography right now and how lucky we are to have had people like Lindbergh in the business.
The cover is really not bad, and Gigi looks nice. But not a 'great' cover by any means.
What the hell ??? Why did they pick this in-between expression? She looks like she wasn´t ready for the shot lol (she probably was...) and that dress? Choices...
What a cheap knock-off of Vogue Russia’s cover with Bela Hadid where she’s also sitting. They even copied the way she sat.
I'm not a fan at all of giampaolo's work
Well this is just deeply uninteresting.
as much as I like the model, this cover ain’t it.
Ok I just can't accept flat shoes on a Vogue cover, especially those.... ridiculous looking mess. Close-up of Gigi would've been far better.
They made her look like she's in her 40s.
Wow that styling make her head look in a really strange shape. Not good at all.
I like the second shot...
I just cannot appreciate Giampaolo's photography.
Not Gigi's finest moment on the cover of Vogue but I can appreciate the small dosage of glamour the cover shot is providing us for a November cover and the editorial does appear to hold some promise also. Gigi looks like an old-school supermodel in the preview!
It's not entirely terrible. This is how Gigi looks. Photographers really have to work hard to shoot her just right. Her makeup is also a lot flatter. Usually makeup artist go heavy on the contouring and bronzer. If anything, this is more natural than what we're used to seeing from her.
this shot is really simple yet mesmerising
Giving me Michaela Bercu circa 1988 vibes
