Why All vogue edition start with the name of the person on the cover and… thats it? Vogue Brazil its the same and in the editor’s letter on the first issue after the “ugly redesign” she said that the “brazilian edition is following the others vogue around the world”. Its ugly and I miss a cover with real content information

Because that requires actual old-fashioned work. It takes someone with experience and an affinity for the visual elements to craft a cover where everything comes together - where the need to please the advertiser is blended with flattering the cover subject, all wrapped up in a design that entices the reader.

Why bother when everything is oriented towards digital, with it's "here today, gone later today" mentality? Grab an image (from the innumerable images generated at the shoot) where the person is wearing the right thing, and then slap a few words on the front.

And I suppose, pragmatically, the less you say on the cover, the less you can get into trouble in some way.
