I really try to keep in mind the situation we are in when viewing new covers, editorials etc... but I don’t like this one. I really want to give it a chance, and have come back to this thread to view two or three times...but I still hate it

I think it’s ghastly, but.... still better than Vogue Italia. That’s the incredibly low bar I’ve decided to set for COVID-era covers. At least they made the effort to commission an artist, not a 5 year old.

yes!! Vogue Italia was probably the worst I have seen. This is like, at least, a step above that.

I like about a dozen gorgeous fashion illustrations by a dozen of talented fashion illustrators as I scroll through Instagram each day. Is the fashion industry really that daft? What the f*ck is an ugly ball of flowers supposed to represent? Get over yourselves for God's sake, this is disgusting.

Hire proper fashion illustrators who can paint a proper fashion illustration highlighting the clothes and beauty. Not an ugly ball of smiling flowers. Those people are deeply disturbed. What are they doing? What are they thinking?? I need answers, because I can't for the life of me figure out how/why they're all so bloody stupid.

Consider the corona situation and medical level there, I am surprised they are even be able to publish a magazine.
Let's, for once, be kind....it must be extremely hard for them to do any thing properly these days

The digital issue is been out for a while. The cover is the only Murakami feature in the issue
