This issue has a lot of stuff.....Helena, Naomi, Carre and a touch of Stephanie.

I'm not a fan of the cover, but I know a lot of people like it.....sorry it's in such bad shape

some people says that Shana is an hybrid of Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour and Linda Evangelista, seeing that picture I have to agree.

I'm not a fan of the cover, but I know a lot of people like it.....sorry it's in such bad shape

I love the cover - that's because I'd fallen in love with Shana from her October issue, and was so excited to see her get another cover in December. She was also part of the multi-girl line-up on the November cover, but I missed that issue.

I also like the glam-extreme look, with the hair-toss frozen in time, and of course, one of the classic Versace dresses. Because her body looks so angular there, the femininity is in the details, in the warpaint - and there's something slightly unsettling about it, like it's supposed to be a parody of Italian glamour as well as acting as a straightforward shot of a glamazon.

It's really hard to keep this issue in good condition. It seems particularly prone to scuffing, and as there's a lot of white in the background, it attracts a sort of ingrained dirt from nowhere.

Whatever paper was used at the time, it wasn't designed to go the distance.

Her hair is so large yet hard, her mouth vulgar and her body so masculine she just seems very close to being a drag queen. Sometimes that can look good, but not here. I just don't see the things I like...But I do think it's a sort of interesting cover, because it's so extreme.
