Kidding me... Valerija? Happy to see her, a change from the endless new faces he uses over and over again. Who's the other girl?
The cover is also quite lovely. It's melancholic, sad but charming at the same time. And very refreshing next to the other covers this year, who were all quite dark and studio shots.
Gorgeous cover, very Saint Laurent
... and Jamie Bochert of course (sorry..)
Oh I like this cover too, it is definitely a departure from what Meisel has been giving to us this year in VI. Seems like it's finally not a foldout?
Is that Jamie, dear God! Love it. Of course Valerija looks stunning. I think more than anything I love the layout and the image. It looks sort of like a glimpse from a window. Didnt think Steven would be able to top last month's cover, but he did.
For a sec I thought it was Jessica Miller but whoah, what a comeback for Valerija! She and Jamie look perfect for that kind of styling. I love that the picture is a mirror reflection, awesome effect.
So random. I hate when the models don't look at the camera for a cover. Not good.
Very surprising casting, but nice to see someone unexpected for a change. Love the boho styling. The text placement is a little odd though.
I groaned when i saw the title, but i actually really like this. It's such an unusual cover shot but I love everything about it.
So HAPPY for Kelava!!! Amazing model that deserves this, but i wish i liked the actual cover, and that the models are more in the shot! It looks like a supplement.
a year of s**t stories is more than worth it to see Valerija omg!!!!!!!!!!!!
This doesn't look like a real cover. Actually, this doesn't look like a cover at all! Still, I'm glad to see Valerija (being someone from ex-Yu) on the cover.
Valerija on the cover is the best suprise of the year .
I love this even though the text placement kinda ruins it. It looks like the art director didn't know where to put the text. Valerija looks gorgeous, Jamie from what we can see of her looks good too and she's perfect for this kind of mood. I also love how this isn't your typical cover shot. The inspiration ( very Saint-Laurent resort 15 for sure ) reminds me of the glorious editorial with Snejana from August 2005.
The text got placed in the center on purpose, it's the present design language.
Valerija Kelava! Cannot wait to see the work here!
I am so pleasantly surprised! From the cast to the cover shot, everything is perfect. The whole vibe feels very early 00s Meisel imo. Can't wait for the review, I have a feeling this is going to be a great issue!
It's very different, I like it and I'm joining the excitement of Valerija being on the cover along with Jamie.
