Franca's early issues are ONE OF THE BEST in the history of Vogue.

God-- Fabien and Franca… They conjured a new alchemy together. Just like Liz x Fabien and Carine x Fabien. I can’t express enough how I adore this man.

And Wallis. A figure right out of a surrealist’s dream— or nightmare. She’s so unusual and striking, like a charming Joker.

That Albert Watson "Nero" story. The days before PS and all executed with the precision and skill of a master. The collage spread alone puts that awful Anne one by Solve for Allure to shame LOOL

This is the power of high fashion presentation that transported me to another place, another time, another plane and another dimension. The talent alone in this issue is titanic.

Thanks aracic!

I miss that sometimes.. try to fill the void with other things but it never resonates quite same way that side of fashion did with me.

This issue is so gorgeous.. I had never seen it before. Thanks Arcaic.
