Kinda like it,
It's a nice photo but how exactly does it transmit the idea of, apparently, such rich DNA?
Looks like a Vogue Arabia cover! Yikes.
It's a bit sci-fi when fashion magazines seem like they're sponsored by 23andme, instead of the usual advertisers.
1st - What the hell is that text? Vogue Italia ITALIA? Well, thanks, I know it is VOGUE ITALIA.
2nd - Teasing us with a vid compilation of M&M and Meisel to deliver this tedious cover?
3rd - I love this new art direction of Teen Vogue!
I think Gigi looks quite lovely, but where is she? Where was this shot taken? This cover lacks cohesion for me, and actually reminds me of a part of a larger collage, like they've just cut her out and superimposed her on this nondescript background, in an attempt to 'art'. All in all, it doesn't look like the VI team knew what they were doing when making this cover. And that doesn't bode well when you're trying to convey some sort of message to the reader.
At least looks like an old VI cover: no model name, no photographer name, only a word.
Second cover is Imaan
R.I.P. Vogue Italia that we love.
lol, doing the DNA test just for the sake of "the DNA issue"? The perfect example of when you take everything so literal. How I miss the Franca era.
That shot of Gigi is nice, if her outfit was white it would make for a lovely US Vogue cover shot. I like the idea of Imaan's cover but I hate the styling and backdrop.
I was hoping this 'DNA' issue idea was about them embracing the roots of the magazine in a new and fresh way, but it just seems to be business as usual.
Is it will be More cover next....??
VI has been sucking for a long time now, this is no different imo... and it´s not even because of Gigi, Imaan´s is bad as well.
one cover left.
I really really like Gigi‘s cover.
