Such a lovely, feel good issue (OT, I've been grumpy all day, good ol' fashion imagery is so relaxing and kind of therapeutic sometimes ⛲️..).
Seeing some of these stories from way back make me understand my mother's understanding of beauty/fashion/style/you name it a little better, she was in her 20s around this time and is still a lot less conservative than I am.. fashion then seemed more vast and connected to senses, they didn't spell out the intentions or made every element seem like a statement, let alone an altruistic endeavor.. sensuality, unconventional beauty.. it all seemed to come naturally.
