meaningless and lifeless, a supplement cover bought by Miu Miu, that's what it is

What happend with her face?? Too much make-up and PS.
I dont mind the Miu Miu look. I love the hair, but the face... Really ruined it.

I like it! She looks like a fembot and I don't mind one bit. Vogue Japan has been boring for so long, anything new works for me!

    Oh my goodness?

Jenny Humphries (during her rebel era), is that you?

That hair is a joke. They should have used a Shake & Go wig instead. That would have looked slightly better.

Also, I wanna know who conceived this GENIUS idea of combining full bangs with a smoked eye. If you don’t want the readers to see her eyes, might as well have her wear shades. This is a mess.

This was a concious choice. Let that sink in.

It's actually getting comical with all these super bad Vogue covers, and they wonder why print is dying! Do better!!

They went from that compelling Namie Amuro cover to this?

I hate this kind of on-the-nose image. "Oh, Elle Fanning is known for looking ethereal, let's turn her into this rebellious, angsty young adult by asking her to flash her underwear on our cover". Whatever happened to subtlety, fashion?!

There's too much text. It's distracting

Break what rules? If she's not wearing any underwear and the text cover her *****, now that's kinda break the rules.

Shocked because this budget Avril Lavigne is not her image at all. And the creepy underwear? No!

If you're going to take backhanders from brands at least package their plugs in less conspicuous ways. See Vogue Australia's cover of Elle.

    ^Tragic, indeed!

This just looks like Mert & Marcus shot this right after they shot something for Miu Miu (which I believe they did a few months back in Prague), and of course Elle Fanning is one of the current faces of Miu Miu too. You would think magazines would want to make these type of advert covers less blatant for us.

So static and unremarkable to follow that gorgeous Namie Amuro cover.
