Wow, this is really quite a terrible cover! What a waste of a top model. Not a single redeeming factor. I wonder whose idea it was to shoot and style her like this?

But then this is the same Vogue Japan who was responsible for this cover. They're hardly arbiters of good taste:

A nightmare!!! She looks like a witch or something. Also, I love Adut but stop with this obsession, there are so many models of colour out there

I don't really mind that Adut's getting so much because it befits her stature and she delivers. At least they don't shove her down our throat as they do with Anok, who can hardly live up to all the hype. And luckily the other models are getting their due, albeit in smaller publications.

I even get racist undertones, like the styling is meant to make her face dissapear or something like... I don´t know, it´s making me uncomfortable :/

True, Adut is very good at her job, I was saying this because she was all over Vogue September covers, including Japan, (which is great especially for a model of color) but to see her again here becomes a bit tiring. Still, I'd take Adut all months instead of Anok who is as popular in fashion as stiff in her poses:lol:

They must have gotten October and November mixed up because this looks like a Halloween costume.

I kinda like it. Thankfully, Comme des Garcons is not to please everyone.

I don’t care if she’s wearing Comme des Garçons or H&M, it’s just a damn ugly picture. The brand has nothing to do with it.

They. Should. Have. Kept. Her. True. Skin. Color.

By making it black and white its as if they wanted to trully erase her from the cover

Not a fan of the cover, but I like the cult/witch vibe, which if we judge by the preview from their last issue, was not at all intended and the editorial doesn't seem exciting at all. Better luck next month!
