The colors here are beautiful and it looks very aesthetically pleasing, bar the ugly headset. But I don't really care for it, as I generally don't care for Vogue Japan ever since AdR left. The magazine is no longer up my alley.

I think it's the ever-changing culture scene of Tokyo or something along those lines...

However, if the cover-story is going to be the only original thing in THIS issue - although I personally doubt it, considering that for the August issue they had Stella Maxwell on the cover and only one photo in the so called cover-story - so, I think they will use that photo-shoot for this issue, actually - then Vogue, as an institution, is indeed dead!

Whats the theme?

The theme for September is "Fashion's New World", according to American Vogue's media kit. Open to interpretation for each edition, I would imagine because that's a pretty broad theme. Guess we'll see shortly how it all plays out!

Tiffany Godoy's Vogue Japan just hasn't been doing it for me, with non-event covers just one after the other. Another once-great magazine down the drain. Admittedly this month, the colours are nice and I approve of the colour of the Vogue masthead and cover text matching the Balenciaga dress.
