The Gucci(?) cover looks oddly enough better than the top one. Vogue Korea seems to love guys on their covers, wonder why is that.
Agree! Maybe it's because it has a vintage feel to it.
Vogue Korea should seriously consider branching out and make a Vogue Hommes Korea. The consistent feature of men on their cover is becoming irritating to be honest. Give female models a chance. This is their platform, don't saturate it. It's hard enough to get a Vogue cover alone, don't make it harder for them and go against male celebs! The same goes true with Men's magazines that consistently put women on their covers. It's hard enough for male models to get covers and they're single handedly given to insta famous male persons and bombshell beauties.
I totally agree with your statements actually but in the Korean modeling industry and Korea people love to see boys band, they have a huge influence on girls and boys who are teenagers. Music and entertainment play a huge role in South Korea.
- 70% of the whole men´s beauty products in the whole world are sold in Korea
- the 24-35 age group represents the biggest group for plastic surgery and men represent a big part of the yearly patients who go under the knife
- male beauty is 1/3 of the major blogger´s focus themes
- Korea has one of the biggest markets for men´s edgier fashion blogs, magazines and newspapers
Having said this, I really like both of these covers but I would prefer to indeed see male models on men´s magazine covers and female models on women´s fashion magazines.![]()
