The first cover is looks like a well-produced version of Vogue USA's September cover. Though I still like the concept of the US version.
I'm excited to see what's inside this issue. I love how they casted Asian girls with different nationalities (Filipina, Koreans, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese).
The whole cast is as lovely as can be but Jay Pak really stole my heart on both covers. Definitely looking forward to the editorials. At last, a Vogue issue that seems a little thrilling at first sight, hope the contents won't disappoint.
Nope, very catalogue and the wrong one. I don't like this whatsoever: where's the magic or creative? Just a bunch of models who look very regular instead of amazing.
Hair and makeup is also very boring.
Nothing stands out: aka very Instagram worthy.
NEXT!
This is composition done right.
This is casting done right.
This is font done right.
This is youth done right, so it needs no quake.
This is human beings looking alive instead of deep frozen.
This is a Vogue cover.
I just pre-ordered a copy of the first cover. I don't really mind the huge headline. I think it was done right. But I do agree that it comes across as too catalogue.
It has some retro feeling, like late 90s Lindbergh shoot but in colour. As most of the comments, I find it cute and fresh. You don't need flowers for making the spring fashion issue (hello Miranda). With these colors and the joy in their face is enough to represent the upcoming season. So lovely. It brings hope to these days.
