Can’t wait for editorials!!!
so they were shooting for vogue paris in mexico with also imaan and mica? i like the cover but i have a soft spot for Nora and i.m happy for her, can't wait to see the rest of the cover story
Very excited to see the results, I hope they do my country justice. Nora Attal is the person I least expected to cover VP but she's radiant here.
No way, so much colour, so much architecture and energy. And not a single retro reference in sight? Love it for these reasons alone. Although if I'm totally honest, a zoomed-in version would have been better.
And very happy for Nora!
No Imaan cover? I’m pressed.
it seems like she works better when she’s not following a stupid direction from global Vogue (last september, last march).
super glad about Nora getting the cover. It looks really calm, not excessively fashionable or retro (let’s hope she’s going on this direction) but somehow invites you to open it and see what’s inside.
This is such a flipping horrible picture.
And suddenly I have a whole new appreciation for the March cover. It pains me to confess that I'm not a fan of this! Not a fan of the full-length cover image, and how it's reading more like a travel supplement as opposed to a fashion magazine cover.
I´m not wowed by it but I like it
I like it because it's different. It's not the studio covers we've been getting for months, and I&V in outdoor shoots is always welcome!
However some creative input:
1. I feel like she was sacrificed for the sake of highlighting the setting. My eyes went straight to what was behind her than her. If they wanted to highlight the venue, they should have at least chose a shot where she's more powerful than this one. Maybe Nora in a more captivating pose? Or at least add more light since the shadow on her face, at least for me, removed much from the image.
2. The way that this was cropped bothers me. If they wanted a zoomed out cover, they should have adjusted the text. The text is literally swallowing her (especially the text on the left side).
3. The multi-colored theme should have been used for the masthead while the yellow color for the text on the right. The masthead blend with the background, and in a marketing prospecting, that's not a good idea. VOGUE is the brand. Everything else just follows.
It had all the elements of being a stellar cover.
Nevertheless, congratulations to Nora for booking VP! She now has UK, Paris, and US (Digital cover). If she books China, she'll now have the biggest 4 Vogue editions.
So much budget for an edition that's 'Cl0$!nG'
A no for me... I didn't like that clown skirt/pants.
Apparently we will not have the 100th anniversary commemorative edition.
A little zoom in and more expression on her face can make a stellar cover. It's does look like a travel magazine.
Gonna love Alt consistency, she literally give Imaan anything but a cover.
So Imaan is in this issue and she didn't get the cover? this totally absurd at this point...
I like Nora and a pop of color on the cover.
However, it really bothers me that we can't really see her face.
The lighting is not good here.
Any chances that this will be a multi-cover?
I agree with those who say that it DOES NEED a little zooming in.
I loathe whatever she’s wearing (who styled the cover, Alt? Jesus...) but I’m very happy for Nora.
not even gonna say anything about that dreadful layout...
but I guess overall it’s an ok cover (could’ve been flawless with a different outfit, layout and clothes... still 1000 times better than March).
I love Nora but this looks like an instagram post of a traveling influencer or something...
I agree, this feels like a clear case of kill your darlings. Of course this is a stunning shot with the vibrant colours, lighting, architecture and symmetry but is it a Vogue cover shot? Not so sure. Still, for me this is miles better than last month's offering.
Nora looks great, I do think that she is deserving of the cover but of course hearing that Mica and Imaan feels a little bittersweet. I would love to see Imaan finally get her cover and it has to be a good one unlike the long awaited Vogue Paris cover that Raquel got.
Not a stellar cover, but the setting and cast are more than promising! I have no doubts that the full story will be as beautiful as ever, can't wait to see more.
