‘Vogue Covers’ Exposition, avenue des Champs-Elysées, Paris, France, October 1 – November 1, 2009.

In addition to the exposition, Editions Ramsay will be publishing the book ‘Vogue Covers‘, which will include reproductions of over 122 covers, plus illustrations, anecdotes, and interviews, unveiling a century of fashion à la française.

I only photographed the ones that I didn't know before and that caught my eye. Who knew Alfred Hitchcock was on the cover of Vogue? :D

    Thanks for posting!!!! :woot:

It great to see all the creativity and talent that went into the creation of this covers, the one with the umbrella, or the woman peeking in the fur coat , most of them are so simple concepts (Less is more :judge:) and yet totally effective, and today we see so many covers with no meaning or different and honest feelings.

Thank you so very very much. The Twiggy cover looks so fantastic. And the cover of the book there, which is from 77-78 sometime, that really is one of the best covers. Subtle vampire. Just killer. And as I recall that whole magazine is utterly amazing through and through too.

I would go for Paris for this if I could get time off from work...:/

I wish they could make wallpaper out of some of them. Are there any of Catherine Deneuve's cover there?
