Bad start for Vogue Paris...
And y'all thought Vogue Italia was dead go home Emmanuelle.
why r her hands positioned on her waist like a sorority girl group shot?!?!?!
Who is she?
Emmanuelle Alt's interpretation of 'embracing different shapes'. The cover is awful from start to end and Jill Kortleve is actually a gorgeous girl.
Oh god!!! Awful all around!!
She's a dutch model, she was in the H&M summer campaign and she walked Alexander McQueen (maybe even shot a campaign, I can't remember).
She's such a gorgeous girl with a beautiful body that is similar to many people's one (much more common than curvy models like Ashley Graham for example), this is such a wasted opportunity in my opinion! Can't stand this pink background, the half white half black masthead and the styling here.
One of the worst covers I've ever seen.
Wow. I have no words. Seriously, I am floored. This is the worst image (cannot call this a cover) I have ever seen in my life. This teen girl pink background? This "rural/country wanna-be-a-model-girl pose"? What is that face? Is that Arya Stark that lost weight and has a constipation or tries her best not to fart at the business meeting? God, BURN THIS RIGHT NOW! I need eyedrops after this, and with holy water in it, because this cover is straight up sin.
Hope the contents are good.
because they want the 'different shape' hype but not the reality of that.. she could be any model just by looking at that shot.
Didn't know much about her but she seems pretty in other pictures.. this is just bad, but pretty consistent with how VP has been since Alt took over tbh.
As usual, terrible cover doesn't equal terrible content when it comes to Vogue Paris. I'll wait for editorial previews to further comment
That's a Jalouse/Muteen cover not a Vogue one. Sorry Emmanuelle you failed on this.
This is probably what happens when you do a photo shoot for a magazine that looks down on what you embody, but has to make a momentary gesture towards 'representation' before getting back to business for March.
Cut x Paste
...but this is no way worse than Vogue Italia's pretentious issue. VP has terrible direction, but at least it has one. VI is still lost
my god, what a horrible cover
I like it. VP is the only Vogue that is still bearable. May Alt continue for many years and never be replaced by a social media chaser. Although I've been for blocked for years from their Instagram page.
I find it refreshing, but her eyebrows are criminal.
