Wow, incredible is my first thought.
I love the styling in Iris' ed, the make-up is great as well and I love Edita's ed too. Daria's ed disappoints me, knew it was Emannuelle's work instantly.

Looking back, I do agree, as the 'Chanel issue' it should be really mind-blowing. Don't know what the rest of the content is like, hope it arrives here in Holland soon!

I LOVE Iris' ed. The rest I like, but I'm not crazy about. Although they are intriguing as always. I found the Chanel theme cool, and the Lara Stone one too, and even the Monaco issue was not without its charm, but I wish they'd loose the themes for a bit. The themes feel a bit limiting to me in terms of creativity and styling.

Is it just my idea, or is Edita's editorial intended to be a "Chanel tribute" editorial? Because some of her accessories appear to be from previous Chanel seasons (in the 90s).

Just a request for anyone who's going to post scans in the future: Can you please avoid using Imagevenue to host your pics? I'm using a public computer right now, and the pics hosted on Imagevenue have a lot of p*rn*gr*ph*c ads.

I know this is annoying but imagevenue is the quickiest/easiest way I found to upload eds. If anyone knows another website I could use, let me know.

i was bored and looked at all the credits ...
in Iris' ed Chanel only appears for access. credits (and mainly vintage - from two stores)
in Daria's ed Chanel is credited something like twice for outfits (all the other credits are for access.)
in Eva + Claudia's ed ... well I hate it so I didn't look at it ...
in Kasia (?) Chanel is only credited for access.
in Carolyn's ed, mainly all the stuff are Chanel ........

to sum up, in Carine's eyes Chanel is just good to access. a woman nowadays ........

wanted to say Carine used a lot of MJ, LV in Iri's ed and all the main/biggest advertisers/labels (Cavalli, Givenchy, LV, Prada, Dior, Dolce&G., YSL, Balenciaga) but have crush for C.Kane, Rodarte and Junya - who don't advertise in VP ....

In David Sims' ed, Roitfeld (who's trying to challenge M.A. Sauvé ...) shops for YSL, CDG, Junya, R.O., Alaïa etc. (though some "mainstream" labels appear)

In her ed, Alt used a lot of cheapest brands / second lines : A.A - a lot for all the Chanel logo tshirts, I. Marant, Gérard Darel, Pinko, D&G and used two old frenchies : Jitrois and Castelbajac ... Balmain is credited three times in her ed .... Also credited once Gucci, Lanvin, MJ etc.

Wanted to say Julia von B. did an amazing job !!! She should styled more 'main' fashion stories !!!

For those who think Daria should get the cover ... well not really possible, the images produced are not enough iconic, most of the time not looking straight into the reader's eyes ... and the one with a bathingsuit ... well there's a bathingsuit and it's not time yet for that !

VP is challenging V. US and V.I. biggest issue (sept.) regarding the % of ad pages in the magazine ... i know it's march but there are 3 double pages in a row every 2p. of written text til the fashion editorials begin ...
the naked man i talked about is by the way the new Brad of KL (the one in Fendi campain)

and same for Iris' editorial ... though I still cannot bear some pages ....
there's an article about Paloma Picasso and of course Coco (10p.) and 2p. about Fulco di Verdura (the man behind Coco Chanel's bijoux fantaisie) ...
the fashion features are Chloé, Alex Wang, YSL 'Unisex', the new AD behind italian labels, and 2p. about Cavalli ....

oh and there's a shot of a man wearing only the MMM Chanel jacket wearing heels by KL .... he's hot !

and i'm pretty shocked by a picture of Carmen Kass where they erased the cigarette !!!! Where is the shocking VP who is scared of nothing ??!! Plz tell me !
