I love the Bal Masque editorial...although M&M did do a better job with a better cast in the 'Welcome To The World' W editorial with Kinee, Denisa, Coco & Snejana.

I might just invest in this issue...

I don't find Bal Masqué anything special but I do like Les Péchés. I hope the other editorials are as good as this one or even better. The review sounds promising. Thanks for the review and scans, elsaskywalker.

I agree. I'm surprised they didn't mix generations more. Daria for example has been such a big part of Vogue Paris in the past years and a muse for Emmanuelle Alt.

The Party is one big mess, imho. The girls look positively awful and the styling couldn't be more dreadful. I'm getting second thoughts on buying this issue.

All the eds so far are good but not special in a anniversary issue way.
The I&V ed is quite different in feel than other work. I can't remember the last time they shot an ed so busy and cinematic in scope.

Random Thoughts about The Party ed:
Were Beyonce, Ke$ha and Fergie not available to shoot this ed?

I am sooooooooo sick of Anja and Natasha's orgasm faces, I guess I should be grateful that they get it over with in one photo.

Oh Isabeli, you're such a hot ******!

I don't know what to make of the styling, I really like most of the clothes selected for this ed but this late in the season, I have seen quite a few of these items numerous times.

I'm excited to see Eniko's ed, which it always ends up being the best of the issue in my opinion.
Lara Stone is looking like Ashley Smith here.

My thoughts exactly. I mean, after reading the review, I was like "Is this for real? No Kate Moss? Even Daria Werbowy?". Sigh..

Just took a second look of Bal Masqué. It's really a great editorial. Carine did such an amazing job in this one. Who wouldn't love the last shot with that male model who looks like he is about to..get it on.

Anyway, Les pechés looks good as well. Yep, typical Klein but Lara is working it here. Love the 4th shot with her watching the two male models that are about to..make out.

What's up with The Party?

The concept of The Party was great but horribly executed imo. The elements of the story clashed and became distracting (the reflections in the mirrors, heads popping on the side etc.) Though I like how the Prada dress was discreetly shown in the last shot.

Bal Masqué is rather pleasant. Thanks for all your scans elsaskywalker.
