Vogue Paris October 2010 : Lara Stone by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

Not really as memorable as I expected, to be honest. What's so good about this? Well, I don't really know.

Yess sound very good, have only one critic, in very bad in this 90 aniversary issue no have editorial Mario Testino because he are a big influence to this magazine i think a BIG mistake of Carine

Agree, and what about Craig McDean???Carine has done some amazing eds with him...

BTW what is she weaing on the cover?

if only i could doodle a pair of eyes on Lara's breasts. they couldn't've been more
in your face with the message. it's striking yes, but epic? sorry but i just can't see
anything past the ginormous boobs. it's just the same crap wrapped in different drivel.

yes Kasper other great classic photographer of Vogue Paris

Im so Sad right now... :(It looks like not even in such an special issue like this one they could spruce up the magazine a little bit... Every month is getting so repetitive,, i just dont get the reason of this Vogue paris "all of a sudden" Meltdown...
The cover, Exquisite... Lara plus her boobs, nothing too groundbreaking, but still, a beautiful picture that fits perfectly with the enthusiastic theme of the issue... Then we get the previews and the story of every single month starts all over... Beautiful cover, boring editorials, same concept, same feelings..is just so sad!
I Was truly expecting this to be a comeback of the excitment that Vogue Paris used to bring; or at least a lil improve of a year full of poor content... I know I may be talking too much before the entire editorials are shown, but judging from the previews.. this looks like more of the same... and i still cant believe im writing this in a Vogue Paris thread...
I would give the world for the editorials turned out to be amazing, and be here again in this thread talking about how bad I feel about writing such a degrading comment like this one.. but my hopes are certainly not up anymore... Vogue Paris is not the same, is a fact, and its a shame.

Now this is what an anniversary cover should look like! Go Lara! I am amazed by this cover. This will certainly be in my mind for a long time. And it will be the first Vogue Paris that I will buy.

i love lara's gap teeth and her giant assymmetric boobs. can't wait for this.

I love Lara and hope the issue will be phenomenal.
I feel like she should've closed her eyes in that cover shot though.

Not to sound completely redundant with all the other comments of praise but wowza what a cover! Hallelujah for Miss Lara Stone!

Fact that the cover is by Mert and Marcus makes it obvious that it is just amazing!! These guys + Lara equal pure fantasicness!!^_^

I am mesmerized by this cover and that's a reaction Lara Stone or Vogue Paris rarely can cause in me.

well, my first thought was oh wow! but its in fact nothing groundbreaking, quite stiff even, i mean, b&w minimal glam photography + golden fonts, how vogue deutsch is that? no offense, but they could have come with 1000+ more original ideas that would make a bolder statement than this. there are dozens of better covers in their archives...

last thing, i hate the airbrushed mouth, it looks so cheap... for what its worth though, ill be probably picking up this issue after all so to justify my moaning
