This is so good! I love Anja
They're going through the same teething stage Vogue Ukraine used to go through. Eventually they'll understand that there's a craft to creating a striking cover image. Yes, even for 'art' issues. They're trying way too hard to look high-brow. I find neither covers interesting or appealing.
This is terrible. Just "weird" for the sake of it.
I hate both of these. just because it's the 'art' issue doesn't mean you can forget what a cover is supposed to look and feel like.
The first cover does something to me. Is a good progress from their last edition, but for me they have to deliver 10 GREAT covers to me start to take them serious like they want, and they are not THERE yet.
The first one posted it's pretty, but too artsy and unconventional!!
This is not Vogue imho.
I love it. Especially the first one. The European Vogues are much better than the UK /US Vogues
That's mainly my problem with 'art' issues. They tend to forget that it's still a fashion magazine. If you can't put out a decent 'art meets fashion' cover, then shove it to a supplement like British Harper's. That way some of us can be spared these juvenile first-year art student attempts.
