Vogue Portugal July 2019 : Sadie Sink by Branislav Simoncik

It's too dark & too blurry. I couldn't tell that this was Sadie Sink.

As pretty as this is, a little young to be on the cover of Vogue, isn't she? Regardless, I find it quite beautiful. It makes me wonder though, what prevented Cindy Crawford's star daughter from booking more Vogue covers during her major break-through season? I assumed it was that age limit CN contract, but Sadie's the same age and I don't think she's nearly as relevant as Kaia.

But the agreement with CN is about the models, not celebritiez

Very beautiful! creative and interesting. Reminds me of the iconic Madonna's cover for NYT Magazine.

You're right. But if they put her name on the cover, which they've done here (as well as with all Kaia's covers), then it's fine. They basically have to treat her like a celebrity. So there will likely be some copy next to her edit as well.
I don't know why magazines are jumping through all these hoops just to show an underage girl on their cover. In Vogue Portugal's case, I'm even more confused. They've been keeping a fairly mature approach to covers. Sadie Sink will not help them look hip.

The first cover, which is the only one I see, doesn't work for me because her features look very average. At least have a Zoe Kravitz/Isabeli Fontana type bone structure if they're going to photograph you behind the net.

Third is the best. I think the blurry ones are unnecessary here.

The Supreme logo making the cover of a Vogue makes me irrationally annoyed. None of these are good covers.

Their cheap Fujifilm colour scheme annoyed me the most

The third cover is a mood.

Is Branislav Simoncik VPortugal's Meisel (as to Franca)?

Man, what is with the Hugo Comte resurgence all of a sudden. We get Comte photographs even when he is not the photographer!

The third cover is quite nice, though it looks like there is a weird halo around her head.

I still don't get it... booking a celebrity to shoot a cover for a magazine like vogue and then the cover pic is blurry and dark... maybe this could work in some other magazine (doubts) but it just doesnt make any sense.

This is not an Indie Art Magazine. This is VOGUE. At least make it look like you kind of give a damn.
