Vogue Russia February 2014 : Anna Selezneva by Hans Feurer

The thread title is enough to make me go weak at the knees, except I'm disappointment with the result after the page loaded. The cover is an eyesore. I don't mind the text placement but the position of the masthead and the composition of the cover shot looks horrendous.

What I cannot understand most is how we get industry greats such as Hans Feurer, a fantastic model like Anna and we get results like this. To think back to all those sensational covers Fuerer would produce for French Elle back in the 80's.

On a positive note: the preview of the March issue looks more to my taste. Anja's legs and that dress! Thanks for all the scans, Stereo_Flo.

Awful. The pose, the composition, the make up and especially that outfit. And yeah I don't like Anna either. The ed is better. Should have used that close up shot.
The other eds are not great either.... weak issue.

Not looking forward to the prospect of another Anja cover.

The ed with Emma Chamtaloup is definitely the best in the issue, love it! It really does it for me when a team can do something strong and simple and still be cool.

The cover and spread looks very much like what Vogue Paris used to do back in the day.

Maybe it's because of Hans Feurer's signature style but this cover gives me 90s feeling.

The outfit is horrible though.

Great to see Anna, but the cover is pretty bad, the content doesn't look all that exciting either, so definitely skipping this month. However, I wanted to thank Stereo Flo for always being on top the the game when it comes to being the first person to scan Russian magazines. I really appreciate your work!
