The cover is actually quite lovely. Has a very 90's Nick Knight x Galliano x Dior mood.
I do have to say, though, the way the corset is buckling on the one side bothers me. It's like I've said in other threads - this new generation of photographers and "creatives" do not have a rigorous eye for these kind of details that matter.
The editorial is ok. I'm very done with the gross-out aesthetic. Can anything just be beautiful anymore? Why does it always have to be poisoned with something nasty or scuzzy or perverse now? I'm not asking for wholesome, per se, but there is nothing wrong with something just being gorgeous. Phony intellectualism has convinced itself that ugliness is where it's at.
