Vogue Russia March 2022 : Michaela Stark by Lea Colombo

The cover is actually quite lovely. Has a very 90's Nick Knight x Galliano x Dior mood.

I do have to say, though, the way the corset is buckling on the one side bothers me. It's like I've said in other threads - this new generation of photographers and "creatives" do not have a rigorous eye for these kind of details that matter.

The editorial is ok. I'm very done with the gross-out aesthetic. Can anything just be beautiful anymore? Why does it always have to be poisoned with something nasty or scuzzy or perverse now? I'm not asking for wholesome, per se, but there is nothing wrong with something just being gorgeous. Phony intellectualism has convinced itself that ugliness is where it's at.

I wonder what happened with the material already done for the april issue....they can publish on the other editions?, how this work, anyone knows?

Their final page in twenty-something years of history is Kendall!!! It's a good picture of her though. Thanks for sharing @Minerva13! I hope Vogue Russia returns and the war (and Putin) ends soon. Russians deserves freedom.
