I guess no one really gives a sh*t about September covers anymore. "Pre-"collections and RTW collections are all blending together and everyone seems to be wearing the next next next season's clothes before the current ones even finishing showing on the runway.

So I guess the role that the September issues played in marking the start of the new season is now obsolete. There's no need to produce anything special anymore. Fashion has just become another extension of the corporate machine.
