I was told they release the cover in this collage format, probably for people on social media to guess what it will look like. Only, I doubt their covers incite any anticipation.

They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel with Lin Chi Ling. In comparison to their past covers, this shot doesn't look that bad. The editorial however is a mess mainly due to the out of focus photography. And those fur slippers reminds me of my nan (She's got a similar type which polishes the floor while she goes about her business in the house. ).

Gucci demands to have full looks in most of the press, it's not a styling issue.
And the photography is Japanese/Taiwanese aesthetic, it's supposed to be blurry like that. But that doesn't mean I like it, it's just something that sells here, and it's probably a rather acceptable outcome to the western mind.

The horrible truth is that Elle and Marie Claire don't do well in Taiwan, that truly bothers me.

The grid is nice, it covers a little bit of this disaster, I hope they keep it in print.
