As per usual I have no idea who she is, but this is definitely one of their better covers. I don't like yellow, but that cover is working for me.
The black one looks too washed out.

She's a Korean soap opera actress. Usually they have higher popular-status than Kpop stars do so I guess it might be sold well in Taiwan.

Safe covers and very standard poses from the cover subject but she looks really beautiful

This is nice. Likely the most HF they’ve ever been in a long time. And the cover shot is the strongest of her story. Smart choice to have gone with it for the cover.

I haven’t bothered with VT for so long since they’ve always looked so local celebrity rag with their covers. And I don’t know if it’s my loss, or that this issue is just an anomaly on their part— but it’s solid. There re 6 fashion stories, not including the cover feature and beauty. And all six are good! The strongest ones are Wildest Dreams by Lindbergh, The Explorer by Lachlan Bailey, and Goth Sunset by Naomi Yang. Not sure if the more high-profile photographers offerings, including one by David Sims, are reprints… Shame if they are. And typical of most Asian rags, awful art direction :sigh:

Thanks for the reviews! They must have a decent budget because reprinted material are kept fairly minimal, and there are always 4/5 edits per issue. Of which one normally goes to that famewhorish Singaporean photographer who keeps including his boyfriend, who isn't even all that, in the edits..

It's just the covers which are Vogue Taiwan's weakest link, the edits generally seem passable for an international Vogue.

He's the fella of the photographer, apparently a 'model' although I'd be hard-pressed to recall anything he shot beyond this edition, which btw he only get's because his photographer bf casts him for every VT edit he shoots.
