With Vogue China being the equivalent of printed NyQuil and Vogue Hong Kong in a state of spiralling creative cluelessness, Taiwan’s inaugural rebranding looked to be so promising. But sadly, it’s clear they’ve settled into this wishy-washy one solid main story with the rest being filler template. Funny how a decade ago, desktop publishers would adopt this template of investing all their production resources into one solid story— because that’s all they could afford, with the remainder of the rag being useless filler. And now Vogues have adopted this template… :sigh:… And the rest of the rag’s feature pages seem to be laid out by interns— such an eyesore…
