Vogue Turkey January 2017 : Estella Boersma by Tom Craig

^IKR it ruins an otherwise beautiful cover, Stella's beauty is so captivating

She's a great model, but should not be shot in portrait. Her face in not strong enough to keep interest. And what's happening wuith her arm?? Another dud for Vogue Turkey.

Her eyes are looking a little but wonky and the back isn't the best but it's not a horrible cover. The lighting is nice.

Her eyes do seem a little off but everything else works for me. One of the best covers in a really really really long time. It's probably because I love Tom Craig and his photography but either way it's a win for me.

i love a 'real' model on Vogue, starting 2017 the right way. It's not groundbreaking, but i like the colours and lighting. Vogue Turkey is one of the obscurest and possibly the smallest Vogue, but good on them for keeping their cover subjects fresh. Their team do a good job on what must surely be a very limited budget.

I don't like it, but I'll take it.
It is a model and somewhat of a fresh face so that's good.

I like the color scheme and styling but yeah, not the best pose for a cover.

Her face in not strong enough to keep interest.
I find myself thinking the opposite every time I see her pictures.. she looks like a painting or something surreal, you just want to look at her. I think she's so pretty she may actually suffer Natalia Vodianova's fate circa 2003.. that people just don't know what to do and ambitious projects (beauty campaigns, covers) always swing between strange and mediocre. Estella has it easier though, she's more cartoonesque and less dramatic. And I think this composition here is lovely.. it's a shame they could've used a better angle with such pretty lighting.

Adore Vogue Turkey for daring and going against the conventional norm. Avoiding the white background on the covers gets my like directly. The hunch, the slightest asymmetry go so good together. Big like!

If she'd been reading a book, the pose would have made more sense to me.
