Vogue Turkey October 2017 : Natasha Poly by Blommers & Schumm

The one thing that I have always loved and admired about Natasha is that I believe 1000000% that she is the kind of model that always listens and follows the given concepts. I don't see her arguing with the stylist or the photographers just because she is an icon and she gets what she wants. This cover is not her best but she is a paid model just doing her job. If it was another model I don't believe the result would be better if not worst. Granted, I have never heard of the photographer, that hair looks like a wig and it is what it is.

My goodness what a terrible cover. This is Vogue? Seriously?

I would’ve accepted this if they got a woman who actually had hair like that and used the “be proud” angle. BUT no. This was an actual choice. A terrible, terrible choice. In what world is this considered fashion? Glamour? Tragic really.

At this point, this edition has turned itself from one of the emerging editions, the one to look out for, to a plain and tragic one. It took Anna, Franca ++ decades to run out of ideas, while these new editions find it possible to do so in less than 5 years. Amazing really.

The stylist or whoever come up with this needs to get fired ASAP!

This may have been an appropriate opportunity for her to argue with the stylist or photographer. lol.

Embarrassing that this ever made it to print. I would be horrified if I were Poly. The entire team behind this Halloween cover should be promptly fired.

She actually haven't posted this cover on her social media accounts lol

like the video below where a "creative director" tells Naomi Campbell to embody a "wet cat" and Naomi said "NO!!" lol maybe Nat should ... she earns the right! RIGHT!!

Lol @ the Naomi vid! 'A wet cat'???? Wtf. Anyway, her way ended up better.....

Easily Natasha's worst Vogue cover (this coming from a diehard Natasha Poly fan). Not even a model of Natasha's ability can work their way through a monstrosity like this. What on earth was the team thinking? Horrific!

The problem with the "wet cat" is that it has nothing to do with her look.

If she wore a fur coat and got hosed down, I'm sure she could have pulled it off and make it fierce.

Natasha is one of the most successful models of her generation because she's so professional, sadly this is the prove of that professionalism. But yes, she could have said NO.

LMAO @ that Naomi video. hahaha. She has absolutely zero problem saying bluntly, "No." She's empowered and knows her craft. Natasha certainly knows her craft, as well. And perhaps she'd try some random styling experiment for photographers she's worked with several times before or ones who have a massive amount of industry respect/clout, but there's honestly no reason why she should have said "Yes" to anything here. Well ... perhaps the red lip is nice...

Very VERY curious to see the editorial. haha.

I've seen the editorial and I'm not a fan of Natasha but there is (in a spread of 11 pages) one picture that I like despite of the hair and everything else. The rest... The hair ruins 3 pictures that would have been quite good otherwise. But in total, the styling, the setting, everything seems like an afterthought. I feel sorry for Natasha, it's definitely not her fault. I think she made the best of it.
