Vogue Turkey September 2019 : Özge Bilicii by Patrick Bienert

It would be gorgeous if the model was dominating the cover by being zoomed in. This way, just pretentious.

And to think they used to have some really stunning covers in the past... this is just hideous.

I don't follow their covers too closely, but is this one of the first time a Turkish person is featured on the cover? Usually it seems international models/celebs are covering their issues.

Great cover!

Not the first. There were some turkish models on a group cover from last year, as well as Mert Alas with Kendall.

I really like this in all its beautiful simplicity.

This is actually very pretty. I like it.

Why pretentious? I'm curious
It feels that way, to me. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but shouldn't a model and the clothes dominate a fashion magazine cover?
There is this new type of magazine aesthetics, sort of started by Vogue Portugal (with roots actually in indie magazines), with the aim to impress slightly alternative (online) groups of people.
With Vogue being the most commercial fashion magazine, and, in this case, Turkey being such a commercial market of its own, this here just seems like a miss.

Looks more like a HB inside editorial cover to me. Way to sparse for newsstand. But I like this continuation of nature covers they're doing lately. Ansley's one was nice, as was Giedre's.

This would've worked with a supermodel or a celeb. Otherwise it's pretty but bland. A non-event.

I really love Vogue Turkey, but I hardly like some of the covers. I wish this one was more trendy and dynamic. I hope they would use Shalom Harlow on the Vogue TR cover soon :)
