Vogue Ukraine June 2016 : Emily DiDonato by Bon Duke

From all that they have shown so far this year, Vogue Ukraine just really stands out for me at this point. I like it, and I like that we are seeing a different Emily here.

I really don't see how referencing and imitating past Vogue Italia editorials makes this magazine AMAZING, but okay.

Better than what both Paris and Italia are at the moment.

I love Emily... she doesn't have a very beautiful profile but nevertheless, I like the cover...

I don't like it...
I love her though, she's an underrated model imo.

I wouldn't call Vogue UA the new coming of Christ among magazines. I got May's issue and while some editorials indeed were interesting, there was nothing breathtaking about it nor its contents. Plus, they still use reprints.

On a side note, what's up with the fact, that it's so hard to find this magazine on sale in Kiev? What's the point of having a national Vogue, when it's even hard to get it in the country's capital?

I'm not sure... Maybe if they had gotten someone with a better profile? Emily's isn't particularly remarkable... The colors are perfect though.

Emily's profile is stunning and it makes you look twice.

Love the colors as well. Love Vogue UA at this point.

Words of wisdom, amen! You pretty sums up many of my thoughts when it comes to Vogue Ukraine... It's a nice magazine, overall, but far away from amazing, breathtaking, beyond belief or whatever and let aside innovating. They're good at what they do, they are good at imitating old-school Vogue Italia's style. I'm fine with it and it seems it has found its niche market here but I'm a bit surprised by the amount of praises it gets everytime a new issue is released, especially from people often discussing the current lack of creativity or innovative ideas.

This being said, I like this cover, the color palette and the composition. And Emily, I like how they took her away from her comfort zone (everything pretty, sunny, smily, glossy) the same way I like seeing Meghan Collison, for example, embody a bombshell while she usually does dark-mooded stories.

Ashley Brokaw approves. <3

It's nice to see this.. I hope the contents will match the cover. I personally find that to be the most helpful

Emily's got the perfect body!! It's crazy, especially when paired with that looks. The shot of her in the bustier is the best for me. Love the styling here. A very memorable shoot for them.
