Gong Li is a goddess and Chinese fashion pics is the gold standard in fashion photography these days, but these pics of her are a miss for me. They just caked on the mascara and eye liner, then gave her no direction aside from "Be cinematic."

I like the Gong Li cover better than any of the other magazine covers I've seen this month barring Addison Rae's - it's moody, glamourous and a bit plush - perfect for autumn.
